Color: Purple Texture: Camouflaging Consistency: Medium The No05 camouflaging base with holographic foil – lilac SHELLY BASE – is a palette of translucent camouflaging bases with holographic foil. The delicate natural tones of the bases mimic the shades of mother–of–pearl sea shells. The elastic base has a convenient medium–thick consistency, suitable for minimal leveling of the nail plate in liquid base techniques. It is recommended to apply over a layer of primer base. It can be used as an independent camouflaging shade or as a base/design element. The semi–transparent texture of the base adjusts to the color of the nail plate, smoothing the transition from the natural nail to the colored coating. Recommended for all nail types. The main advantage is that it speeds up design creation. Consistency: Medium. Polymerization speed: High. After polymerization: Medium–firm. Pigmentation: Medium. Acidity: Medium. Application technology: 0. Prepare the nail plate: perform a manicure, shape the free edge of the nail as desired. 1. Degreasing: degrease the nail plate mechanically (with a buff) and chemically (using PREPFINISH and a lint–free wipe. 2. Dehydration: apply NAIL FRESHER to the entire nail and let it air dry until a whitish tint appears on the surface of the nail plate. 3. Bonding: with a semi–dry brush, apply an acid–free primer ULTRABOND to the entire nail, keeping 1mm away from the cuticle and sidewalls. Allow to air dry for 15 seconds. This step can be skipped when using MULTI BASE. 4. Base coat: apply a base cover MULTI/RUBBER BASE in a thin/rubbing layer. Polymerize the base cover in a UV lamp for 2–3 minutes, in an LED lamp for 60 seconds. 5. Color: apply SHELLY BASE. If necessary, perform minimal leveling of the nail plate up to 1mm, spreading pieces of foil over the nail with a liner brush. Polymerize the base in a UV lamp for 2–4 minutes, in an LED lamp for 60 seconds.
