It looks stunning with or without a base. The cat’s eye pigment allows for creative designs using magnets, forming stripes of various shapes, curves, and sizes. Application technology for cat’s eye gel polish: 1. Prepare the nail plate: perform a manicure and shape the free edge of the nail. 2. Degrease the nail plate mechanically with a buffer and/or chemically with NAIL PREP or NAIL FRESHER (for a moist nail plate) using a lint–free wipe. 3. Apply the acid–free primer Ultrabond for better adhesion between the nail plate and the polish. 4. Apply the selected base coat and shape the nail plate as needed. Cure under a UV lamp for 2–3 minutes or under an LED lamp for 60 seconds. 5. If using a base coat, apply the color and cure in a UV lamp for 2–3 minutes or in an LED lamp for 60 seconds. 6. Apply a layer of CAT’S EYE REFLECTIVE. Before curing, use a magnet to create a stripe (a standard magnet, a strong magnet, or magnets of various shapes and sizes can be used. 7. Once the desired stripe is formed, cure the gel polish in a UV lamp for 2–3 minutes or in an LED lamp for 60 seconds. It is recommended to work in a conveyor method, one finger at a time. 8. Seal the manicure with a top coat. Cure under a UV lamp for 2–3 minutes or under an LED lamp for 60 seconds. 9. If a top coat was used with a sticky layer, remove the tackiness with NAIL PREP and a lint–free wipe 60 seconds after curing. Helpful tips: If the stripe didnt turn out on the first try, simply break the pigment with a brush (simulating gel polish application) and start over. Using a strong magnet creates a wide stripe that can be bent in different directions. With two light sources, a wide magnet produces the effect of several colored stripes simultaneously.
