The gel polish has increased viscosity, does not flood cuticles, and has no strong odor. The ideal telescopic brush, with its perfect shape, length, and bristle elasticity, ensures a neat and even application on the nail plate in one or two coats. It has optimal polymerization speed in UV/LED lamps. Due to its fairly thick consistency, PASTEL GEL POLISH can be used not only as a standalone coat but also for designs. Prepare the nail plate for gel polish application: perform a manicure and shape the free edge of the nail. If using remover, remove residues with a damp wipe. 1. Degreasing: mechanically (using a buff) and chemically (using PREPFINISH and a lint–free wipe) degrease the nail plate. 2. Dehydration: apply NAIL FRESHER to the entire nail and let it air dry until a whitish hue appears on the nail plate surface. 3. Bonding: using a semi–dry brush, apply an acid–free primer ULTRABOND to the entire nail, retreating 1mm from the cuticle and sidewalls. Allow to air dry for 15 seconds. 4. Base coat: apply a medium layer of base coat. Polymerize in a UV lamp for 2–3 minutes, in an LED lamp for 60 seconds. To level the nail plate, we recommend using only low–acid bases. 5. Color: apply PASTEL GEL POLISH in 1–2 coats, avoiding heavy pressure on the brush. Polymerize in a UV lamp for 2 minutes, in an LED lamp for 60 seconds. 6. Top coat: secure with a top coat. Polymerize in a UV lamp for 2–3 minutes, in an LED lamp for 1 minute. Allow the coating to cool completely. To level the nail plate with the top coat, we recommend using top coats of medium to thick consistency. PRO Tips: – For a more uniform pastel shade, it can be applied over a camouflaging or colored base of the same tone, or the color can be evened out using a camouflaging top when applying pastel color. – When applying pastel color, hold the brush parallel to the nail plate and work across the surface, avoiding pressure on the brush. Strict adherence to the gel polish application technique is the key to long–lasting manicure without chipping, cracking, or peeling.
