Due to its thick consistency, it can be used not only as a standalone color but also for design work. It has an optimal polymerization speed in UV/LED lamps. Prepare the nail plate for gel polish application: perform a manicure and shape the free edge of the nail. If using a remover, wipe off any residue with a damp cloth. 1. Dehydration: mechanically (using a buff) and chemically (using PREPFINISH and a lint–free wipe) degrease the nail plate. 2. Dehydration: apply NAIL FRESHER to the entire nail and allow to air dry until a whitish hue appears on the nail plate surface. 3. Bonding: use a semi–dry brush to apply the acid–free primer ULTRABOND to the entire nail, retreating 1mm from the cuticle and sidewalls. Let it air dry for 15 seconds. 4. Base coat: apply the base coat evenly. Polymerize in a UV lamp for 2–3 minutes, in an LED lamp for 60–90 seconds. To align the architecture, it is recommended to use bases with a low acidity level over the dried layer. 5. Color: apply GEL POLISH in 1–2 thin layers, avoiding excessive pressure on the brush. Polymerize each layer in a UV lamp for 2 minutes, in an LED lamp for 60 seconds. 6. Top coat: seal with a top coat. Polymerize in a UV lamp for 2–3 minutes, in an LED lamp for at least 60 seconds. Allow the coating to cool completely. To align the architecture with the top coat, it is recommended to use top coats of medium to thick consistency. PRO Tip: For bright and light gel polishes, cover with a top coat that has UV filters to maintain color richness, while use top coats without UV filters for dark and red colors to prevent distortion of shades. Strict adherence to the gel polish application technique is the key to long–lasting wear of the manicure without chips, cracks, and peeling.
