Due to its relatively thick consistency, the gel polish can be used not only as a standalone color but also for design purposes. It has an optimal curing speed in UV/LED lamps. Prepare the nail plate for gel polish application: perform a manicure and shape the free edge of the nail. If using a remover, wipe off any residue with a moist wipe. 1. Degreasing: Degrease the nail plate both mechanically (with a buffer) and chemically (using PREPFINISH and a lint–free wipe. 2. Dehydration: Apply NAIL FRESHER to the entire nail and let it air dry until a whitish hue appears on the nail surface. 3. Bonding: Using a semi–dry brush, apply the acid–free primer ULTRABOND to the entire nail, keeping 1mm away from the cuticle and sidewalls. Allow to air dry for 15 seconds. 4. Base Coat: Apply a uniform layer of base coat. Cure in a UV lamp for 2–3 minutes, or in a LED lamp for 60–90 seconds. For optimal base architecture, we recommend using low–acidity base coats over a cured layer. 5. Color: Apply GEL POLISH in 1–2 thin layers, avoiding heavy pressure on the brush. Cure each layer in a UV lamp for 2 minutes, or in a LED lamp for 60 seconds. 6. Finish: Seal with a top coat. Cure in a UV lamp for 2–3 minutes, or in a LED lamp for 60 seconds. Allow the coating to cool completely. For achieving a uniform architecture with the top coat, we recommend using top coats with medium to thick consistency. PRO Tip: For light and bright gel polishes, use a top coat with UV filters to maintain color saturation, and for dark and red shades, use a top coat without UV filters to prevent color distortion.
