Degreasing: mechanically (using a buffer) and chemically (using PREPFINISH and a lint–free wipe) degrease the nail plate. 2. Dehydration: apply NAIL FRESHER to the entire nail and let it air dry until a whitish hue appears on the surface of the nail plate. 3. Bonding: if using the adhesive base PRO BASE–BOND, skip this step. 4. Base layer: apply an even layer of the base coat PRO BASE–BOND, thoroughly encasing the sidewalls and free edge. Cure the base coat under a UV lamp for 2–3 minutes or under an LED lamp for 60 seconds. 5. Reinforcement: using a gel brush, apply a rubbing layer of gel over the entire nail surface, leaving a 1mm margin from the cuticle. Apply a second leveling layer over the uncured gel, considering the fundamental principles of modeling with solid materials. Cure under a UV lamp for 2–4 minutes or under an LED lamp for 90 seconds. Remove the residual stickiness using PREPFINISH and a lint–free wipe. Using a 150/180 grit file, perform a step–by–step shaping of the form. PRO tips: – for easier material application, use upper forms or gel tips – to prevent lifting from the free edge, it is recommended to file the natural nail from the inside by 1–2mm. Extensions: prepare/set forms sequentially on each finger. Lay down a thin base of the desired length and shape directly on the lower or upper form, then model the nail architecture with gel. To create an arch, you can pinch the gel at the 7–12 second mark, depending on your lamp type and strength. Then, cure the nail under the lamp until the gel is fully polymerized for 60 seconds in an LED lamp or 3–4 minutes in a UV lamp. Remove the residual stickiness using PREPFINISH and a lint–free wipe. Using a 150/180 file, perform a step–by–step shaping of the form. PRO tip: apply the gel with a minimum 1mm margin from the cuticle to avoid material lifting in this area.
