ULTRABOND Acid-Free Primer

Acid–Free Primer 8ml Acid–Free ULTRABOND Primer is a product that forms and enhances adhesion between the natural nail surface and polymer materials. It is used as the third step in preparing the nail plate within gel polish systems and in nail modeling and strengthening systems. It should be applied after a dehydrator, prior to applying the base coat. It is recommended for use with base materials that have medium to low acidity. For high–acidity base coatings, avoid using primers to prevent excessive adhesion (MULTI BASE, RUBBER BASE, or apply only to areas most prone to lifting (free edge. The product is gentle on natural nails and has a neutral pH of 6. Application Technology: 1. Prepare the nail plate for gel polish application: perform a manicure and shape the free edge of the nail as needed. If using a remover, remove any residue with a damp wipe. 2. Degreasing: degrease the nail plate both mechanically (using a buff) and chemically (using PREPFINISH and a lint–free wipe. 3. Dehydration: apply a thin layer of NAIL FRESHER to the entire nail surface; for humid hands, apply to the nail and sidewalls. Allow to air dry until a whitish tint appears on the nail plate surface. Repeat if necessary. 4. Bonding: using a semi–dry brush, apply ULTRABOND to the entire nail, staying 1mm away from the cuticle and sidewalls. Aim to apply the product in 1–2 strokes to avoid excessive adhesion, holding the brush at a 15–degree angle to the plate. Allow to air dry for 15 seconds. Usage in designs: to seal design edges with powders before applying a topcoat to smooth out any irregularities of slider designs prior to securing the design with a base coat.
