Gel Polish No. 482 – Muted Purple High–quality medium–density gel polish has a dense, rich pigment. It provides a neat, even coverage of the nail plate in one or two layers, won’t flood cuticles, and has no strong odor. Due to its relatively thick consistency, this gel polish can be used not only as a standalone color but also for design work. It has an optimal curing speed in UV/LED lamps. Prepare the nail plate for gel polish application: perform a manicure and shape the free edge of the nail. If a remover was used, wipe off its remains with a damp cloth. 1. Degreasing: mechanically (using a buffer) and chemically (with PREPFINISH and a lint–free cloth, degrease the nail plate. 2. Dehydration: apply NAIL FRESHER to the entire nail, allowing it to air dry until a whitish hue appears on the nail surface. 3. Bonding: using a semi–dry brush, apply the acid–free primer ULTRABOND to the entire nail, staying 1 mm away from the cuticle and side walls. Allow it to air dry for 15 seconds. 4. Base layer: apply a uniform layer of base coat. Cure in a UV lamp for 2–3 minutes, or in an LED lamp for 60–90 seconds. For architectural leveling, we recommend using low–acid bases over a dried substrate. 5. Color: apply GEL POLISH in 1–2 thin layers, avoiding excessive pressure on the brush. Cure each layer in a UV lamp for 2 minutes or in an LED lamp for 60 seconds. 6. Top coat: seal the finish with a top coat. Cure in a UV lamp for 2–3 minutes or in an LED lamp for 60 seconds. Allow the coating to cool completely. For architectural leveling with the top coat, we recommend using top coats of medium–thick and thick consistency. PRO Tip: For light and bright gel polishes to maintain color richness, cover with a top coat that has UV filters, while for dark and red colors to prevent shade distortion, use a top coat without UV filters.
