Color: beige Texture: camouflaging Consistency: medium The No03 camouflaging base with gold plating, SHELLY BASE, offers a palette of semi–transparent camouflaging bases with holographic plating. The delicate natural tones of the bases mimic the shades of iridescent marine shells. The elastic base has a comfortable medium viscosity, suitable for minimal leveling in liquid base techniques. It is recommended to apply on a primer layer. Can be used as a standalone camouflaging shade or as a base/design element. The semi–transparent texture adapts to the nail plate color, smoothing the transition from the natural nail to the colored coating. Recommended for all types of nails. Preparing the nail plate: perform a manicure and shape the free edge of the nail as needed. 1. Dehydration: degrease the nail plate mechanically (with a buff) and chemically (using PREPFINISH and a lint–free wipe. 2. Dehydration/Desiccation: apply NAIL FRESHER to the entire nail and let it air dry until a whitish hue appears on the surface of the nail plate. 3. Bonding: with a semi–dry brush, apply the acid–free primer ULTRABOND to the entire nail, keeping 1mm away from the cuticle and side walls. Allow to air dry for 15 seconds. This step can be skipped if using MULTI BASE. 4. Base coat: apply a grounding base coat of MULTI/RUBBER BASE in a thin/rubbing layer. Cure the base coat in a UV lamp for 2–3 minutes or in an LED lamp for 60 seconds. 5. Color: apply SHELLY BASE. If necessary, perform minimal leveling of the nail plate up to 1mm and distribute pieces of gold plating over the nail using a liner brush. Cure the base in a UV lamp for 2–4 minutes or in an LED lamp for 60 seconds.
