The gel polish has increased viscosity, preventing it from settling into side grooves and emitting a strong odor. The ideal telescopic brush, in terms of shape, length, and flexibility, provides neat and even coverage of the nail plate in one or two layers. It has an optimal curing speed in UV/LED lamps. Due to its sufficiently thick consistency, PASTEL GEL POLISH can be used not only as a standalone coating but also for designs. Prepare the nail plate for gel polish application: perform a manicure and shape the free edge of the nail. If using a remover, remove its residues with a damp wipe. 1. Degreasing: Use a buff for mechanical degreasing and PREPFINISH with a lint–free wipe for chemical degreasing of the nail plate. 2. Dehydration: Apply NAIL FRESHER to the entire nail and let it dry in the air until a whitish hue appears on the surface of the nail plate. 3. Bonding: Using a semi–dry brush, apply the acid–free primer ULTRABOND to the entire nail, staying 1 mm away from the cuticle and sidewalls. Let it air dry for 15 seconds. 4. Base Layer: Apply a medium layer of base coat. Cure the base coat in a UV lamp for 2–3 minutes and in an LED lamp for 60 seconds. We recommend using only low–acid–based bases for leveling the nail plate. 5. Color: Apply PASTEL GEL POLISH in 1–2 layers, avoiding excessive pressure on the brush. Cure in a UV lamp for 2 minutes and in an LED lamp for 60 seconds. 6. Top Coat: Seal the coating with a top coat. Cure in a UV lamp for 2–3 minutes and in an LED lamp for 1 minute. Allow the coating to cool completely. For leveling with the top coat, we recommend using topcoats of medium to thick consistency. PRO Tips: To achieve a more even pastel shade, it can be applied on a camouflage or colored base in a matching tone, or the color can be adjusted on top using a camouflage top coat. When applying the pastel color, keep the brush parallel to the nail plate and work over the surface while avoiding pressure on the brush. Strict adherence to the gel polish application technique ensures long–lasting wear of the manicure without chips, cracks, and peeling.
