Cat Eye Magnetic Gel Polish

The finish looks incredibly deep, reminiscent of the sparkling hues of precious and semi–precious stones. It is perfect for Korean designs when applied without a dark or colored base underneath. The cat’s eye pigment allows for creative play with magnets, creating reflections of various shapes, curves, and sizes. Application Technique: 1. Prepare the nail plate for gel polish application: perform a manicure and shape the free edge of the nail. If using a remover, wipe away residues with a damp cloth. 2. Degreasing: degrease the nail plate both mechanically (using a buff) and chemically (with PREPFINISH and a lint–free cloth. 3. Dehydration: apply NAIL FRESHER to the entire nail, allowing it to air dry until a whitish tint appears on the nail surface. 4. Bonding: using a semi–dry brush, apply the acid–free primer ULTRABOND to the entire nail, staying 1mm away from the cuticle and side walls. Let it air dry for 15 seconds. 5. Base coat: apply a medium layer of base coat. Polymerize the base coat in a UV lamp for 2–3 minutes or in a LED lamp for 60 seconds. For nail plate leveling, it is recommended to use only low–acidity bases. 6. Color: if using a base coat, apply the color and cure it in a UV lamp for a minimum of 2–3 minutes or in a LED lamp for 60 seconds. Then, apply a layer of CAT’S EYE MAGNETIC gel polish. Before curing, magnetize the reflection (you can use a standard magnet, a stronger magnet, or magnets of various shapes and sizes. Cure the gel polish in a UV lamp for 2–3 minutes or in a LED lamp for 60 seconds. If needed, apply a second layer in the same manner. It is recommended to work in a conveyor style, applying to one finger at a time. If the reflection doesn’t work the first time, simply break the pigment with a brush (substituting the gel polish application) and start again. 7. Top coat: secure the finish with a top coat. Polymerize in a UV lamp for 2–3 minutes or in a LED lamp for 1 minute. If using a top coat with a sticky layer (RUBBER TOP, allow the coating to cool, then remove the tackiness with PREPFINISH and a lint–free cloth. For leveling the nail plate with a top coat, it is recommended to use medium to thick consistency top coats. Following the gel polish application technique precisely is the key to long–lasting wear without chips, cracks, and peeling.
