Cat’s Eye Gel Polish Collection

The Cosmic CAT’S EYE REFLECTIVE gel polish is an incredible blend of enchanting deep cat’s eye reflections and light–reflecting particles that shimmer under artificial lighting. It looks equally stunning with or without a base coat, and the cat’s eye pigment allows for creative designs with magnets, forming stripes of various shapes, curves, and sizes. Application technique for cat’s eye gel polish: 1. Prepare the nail plate for gel polish application: perform a manicure and shape the free edge of the nail as desired. 2. Dehydrate the nail plate using a buff and/or chemically with NAIL PREP or NAIL FRESHER (for moist nail plates) and a lint–free wipe. 3. Apply the acid–free primer Ultrabond for better adhesion between the nail plate and the coating. 4. Apply the chosen base coat. If necessary, level the nail plate. Cure under a UV lamp for 2–3 minutes or an LED lamp for 60 seconds. 5. If using a base coat, apply color and cure under a UV lamp for 2–3 minutes or an LED lamp for 60 seconds. 6. Apply a layer of CAT’S EYE REFLECTIVE. Before curing, magnetize the design (a standard magnet, a stronger magnet, or magnets of various shapes can be used. 7. Once the desired stripe shape is achieved, cure the gel polish in a UV lamp for 2–3 minutes or an LED lamp for 60 seconds. It is recommended to work in a conveyor method, one finger at a time. 8. Top the manicure with a top coat. Cure in a UV lamp for 2–3 minutes or an LED lamp for 60 seconds. 9. If a sticky top coat was used, remove the tackiness with NAIL PREP and a lint–free wipe 60 seconds after curing. Helpful tips: If the stripe does not turn out on the first try, simply break up the pigment with a brush (simulating the application of a layer of gel polish) and start again. Using a stronger magnet creates a wide stripe that can be bent in different directions. With two light sources, a wide magnet gives the effect of several colored stripes at once.
