It is used for: – extension using tip and form methods – reinforcement and architectural correction of nails as a mono–product or in combined techniques with harder polymer materials. Viscosity: medium. Plasticity: low. Density: medium. Pigmentation: medium. Application technique: 0. Prepare the nail plate: perform a manicure and shape the free edge of the nail. 1. Degreasing: mechanically (with a buffer) and chemically (using PREPFINISH and a lint–free wipe) degrease the nail plate. 2. Dehydration: apply NAIL FRESHER to the entire nail, letting it air dry until a whitish tint appears on the surface. 3. Bonding: skip this step when using the PRO BASE–BOND adhesive base. 4. Base coat: apply a uniform layer of the PRO BASE–BOND base coat, carefully surrounding the sidewalls and free edge. Polymerize the base coat in UV lamp for 2–3 min, in LED lamp for 60 sec. 5. Reinforcement: using a gel brush, apply a rubbing layer of gel across the entire nail surface, leaving a 1mm gap from the cuticle. Apply a second leveling layer over the uncured gel, following the main principles of modeling with hard materials. Polymerize in UV lamp for 2–4 min, in LED lamp for 90 sec. Remove residual stickiness with PREPFINISH and a lint–free wipe. Use a 150/180 grit file to refine the shape step by step. PRO tips: – to facilitate material application, you may use forms or gel tips – to prevent lifting from the free edge, we recommend filing down the natural nail from the inside by 1–2mm. Extension: prepare/set forms sequentially on each finger. Lay a thin base of the desired length and shape directly onto the tip or form, modeling the nail architecture with gel. To create an arch, gently press the gel at the 7–12 second mark, depending on the type and power of the lamp. Then send the nail to the lamp for full polymerization for 60 seconds in an LED lamp, 3–4 minutes in a UV lamp. Remove residual stickiness with PREPFINISH and a lint–free wipe. Use a 150/180 file to refine the shape step by step. PRO tip: apply gel with at least a 1mm gap from the cuticle to avoid material lifting in this area.
