It is used for: – extensions on upper and lower forms – strengthening and correcting nail architecture as a mono product and in combination techniques with harder polymer materials. Hardness: high. Viscosity: medium. Plasticity: low. Density: medium. Pigmentation: medium. Application process: 0. Prepare the nail plate: perform a manicure, give the free edge the desired shape. 1. Degreasing: degrease the nail plate both mechanically (with a buffer) and chemically (using PREPFINISH and a lint–free wipe. 2. Dehydration: apply NAIL FRESHER to the entire nail, allowing it to air dry until a whitish hue appears on the surface. 3. Bonding: skip this step if using an adhesive base PRO BASE–BOND. 4. Base layer: apply a uniform layer of PRO BASE–BOND base coat, carefully capping the sidewalls and free edge. Polymerize the base coat under a UV lamp for 2–3 minutes, or under an LED lamp for 60 seconds. 5. Strengthening: with a gel brush, apply a rubbing layer of gel over the entire nail surface, leaving a 1mm gap from the cuticle. Apply a second leveling layer on the uncured gel, following the basic principles of modeling with solid materials. Polymerize under a UV lamp for 2–4 minutes, or under an LED lamp for 90 seconds. Remove the sticky residue with PREPFINISH and a lint–free wipe. Use a 150/180 grit file to perform a step–by–step filing of the shape. PRO tips: – to facilitate the application of material, use upper forms or gel tips – to prevent lifting from the free edge, recommend filing the natural nail from the inside by 1–2mm. Extensions: prepare/set forms sequentially for each finger. Lay a thin base of the desired length and shape directly on the bottom or top form, modeling the nail architecture with gel. To create an arch, you can pinch the gel at 7–12 seconds depending on the type and power of the lamp. Then send the nail to the lamp for complete gel polymerization for 60 seconds in an LED lamp, or 3–4 minutes in a UV lamp. Remove the sticky residue with PREPFINISH and a lint–free wipe. Use a 150/180 grit file to perform a step–by–step filing of the shape. PRO advice: apply gel leaving at least 1mm from the cuticle to avoid material lifting in this zone.
