Due to its fairly thick consistency, PASTEL GEL POLISH can be used not only as a standalone coating but also for design work. Prepare the nail plate for gel polish application: perform a manicure and shape the free edge of the nail. Remove any residue with a damp wipe if using a remover. 1. Degreasing: mechanically (with a buff) and chemically (with PREPFINISH and a lint–free wipe) degrease the nail plate. 2. Dehydration: apply NAIL FRESHER to the entire nail and allow it to air dry until a whitish tint appears on the nail surface. 3. Bonding: apply the acid–free primer ULTRABOND to the entire nail with a semi–dry brush, retreating 1 mm from the cuticle and sidewalls. Let it air dry for 15 seconds. 4. Base coat: apply a medium layer of base coat. Cure the base coat in a UV lamp for 2–3 minutes, in an LED lamp for 60 seconds. For leveling the nail plate with the base, it is recommended to use only low–acidity bases. 5. Color: apply PASTEL GEL POLISH in 1–2 layers, avoiding strong pressure on the brush. Cure in a UV lamp for 2 minutes, in an LED lamp for 60 seconds. 6. Top coat: seal the coverage with a top coat. Cure in a UV lamp for 2–3 minutes, in an LED lamp for 1 minute. Allow the coating to cool completely. For leveling the nail plate with the top, it is recommended to use top coats of medium and thick consistency. PRO tips: To achieve a more even pastel shade, it can be applied over a camouflaging or colored base that matches, or adjust the color on top with a camouflaging top coat. When applying pastel colors, hold the brush parallel to the nail plate and work on the surface, avoiding pressure on the brush.
