One Drop Gel for Nail Extensions

One Drop Gel No08 is a beige building gel with micro shimmer, packaged in a vacuum pump jar. This medium–thick camouflage gel is ideal for nail extensions and enhancements for medium to long nails. It can be used for extensions on forms, reinforcing, and correcting nail architecture, either as a standalone product or in combination with firmer polymer materials. Advantages of One Drop Gel include: a convenient medium–thick consistency, cold polymerization, and natural shades. Its main benefit is excellent self–leveling. The gel has medium pigmentation, and its natural hue camouflages the transition from the natural nail to the artificial one, adapting to the nail plate color. It is easy to use and store, thanks to the vacuum dosing system – one press, one drop. The drop’s volume can be adjusted by the pressure applied to the pump. Key properties include high hardness, medium viscosity, low plasticity, and medium density and pigmentation. Before use, remove the clear silicone protective cap from the pump. Application steps: 0. Prepare the nail plate: perform a manicure and shape the free edge. 1. Dehydrate: degrease the nail plate mechanically (with a buff) and chemically (using PREPFINISH and a lint–free wipe. 2. Dehydrate: apply NAIL FRESHER to the entire nail and allow it to air dry until a whitish tint appears on the surface. 3. Bonding: skip this step if using PRO BASE–BOND adhesive base. 4. Base Layer: apply an even layer of PRO BASE–BOND base coat, carefully enveloping the sidewalls and free edge. Cure the base coat in a UV lamp for 2–3 minutes or in an LED lamp for 60 seconds. 5. Reinforcement: using a gel brush, apply a rubbing layer of gel over the entire surface of the nail, keeping a 1mm distance from the cuticle. On the uncured gel, apply a second leveling layer, following the basic principles of modeling with solid materials. Cure in a UV lamp for 2–4 minutes or in an LED lamp for 90 seconds. Remove stickiness with PREPFINISH and a lint–free wipe. File the form gradually using a 150/180 grit file. PRO Tips: to facilitate material application, use upper forms or gel tips; to prevent lifting at the free edge, recommend filing the natural nail from the inside by 1–2mm. For Extensions: prepare and position forms one at a time on each finger. Apply a thin base layer at the desired length and shape directly on the lower or upper form, shaping the nail architecture with gel on top. To create an arch, you can push the gel at the 7–12 second mark, depending on the lamp type and power. Then, cure the nail until fully polymerized for 60 seconds in an LED lamp or 3–4 minutes in a UV lamp. Remove stickiness with PREPFINISH and a lint–free wipe, then file the shape gradually with a 150/180 grit file. PRO Advice: apply gel with a minimum 1mm distance from the cuticle to avoid lifting in that area.
