Prepare the Nail Plate: Perform manicure, shape the free edge of the nail as needed. 1. Degreasing: Mechanically (using a buffer) and chemically (using PREPFINISH and a lint–free wipe) degrease the nail plate. 2. Dehydration: Apply NAIL FRESHER over the entire nail and let it air dry until a whitish hue appears on the surface of the nail plate. 3. Bonding: If using the adhesive base PRO BASE–BOND, skip this step. 4. Base Layer: Apply an even layer of the primer PRO BASE–BOND, carefully capping the side walls and free edge. Cure the base coat in a UV lamp for 2–3 minutes, in an LED lamp for 60 seconds. 5. Strengthening: Using a gel brush, apply a rubbing layer of gel over the entire nail plate, keeping a 1mm distance from the cuticle. Apply a second leveling layer over the uncured gel, considering the basic principles of modeling with hard materials. Cure in a UV lamp for 2–4 minutes, in an LED lamp for 90 seconds. Remove the residual tackiness with PREPFINISH and a lint–free wipe. Use a 150/180 grit file to shape the form gradually. PRO Tips: – For ease of material application, you can use upper forms or gel tips. – To prevent lifting from the free edge, it is recommended to file the natural nail from the inside by 1–2mm. Extensions: Prepare/Apply forms one at a time to each finger. Apply a thin base of the desired length and shape directly on the lower or upper form, and model the nail architecture with gel. To create an arch, you may hold the gel for 7–12 seconds, depending on the type and power of the lamp. Then, send the nail into the lamp for complete gel polymerization for 60 seconds in an LED lamp, 3–4 minutes in a UV lamp. Remove the residual tackiness with PREPFINISH and a lint–free wipe. Gradually shape using a 150/180 grit file. PRO Tip: Apply gel with a minimum 1mm distance from the cuticle to avoid material lifting in this area.
